Waterpump

All FE pulley systems are designed for standard rotation waterpumps. We recommend Edelbrock 8805 (cast) or 8835 (polished) waterpumps. 1965-1976 stock waterpumps will also work.

Crankshaft Damper

FE kits are designed for the factory 3 bolt pattern damper shown here

1973-76 Ford 360/390 engines - (OEM #D5TZ-6316-D), Powerbond #PB1111M or #PB1111ST (performance) or #PB1111SS (race), Pioneer #DA-390 or #872056 (performance), Dorman #594-146

Quality aftermarket balancers are available for this engine, but some aftermarket dampers are not direct replacement for factory dampers. Be sure the manufacturer specifies the factory correct balance, 3-bolt pattern, and pulley spacing

Additional Notes

All FE kits use two 6 groove serpentine belts (except for SFE04 kit which has one 6 groove serpentine belt)
FE kits are designed for use with electric cooling fans. If you need to run a mechanical fan, contact us and we can make modifications to the waterpump pulley
