Will These Pulley Kits Clear the Cross Member on a C2 or C3 Corvette?
These kits normally clear the cross member on otherwise stock 1965 - 1982 C2 and C3 Corvettes. 1963 - 1964 engines will most likely have to be shimmed upward for the crank pulley to clear the cross member. Make sure you have enough hood clearance!
- This kit will not work with engines equipped with VVT (variable valve timing). VVT components can be removed with VVT delete kits available from Summit Racing, Brian Tooley Racing, etc.
- LS kits will work with most cable driven, LS1, LS2, LS3 and aftermarket throttle bodies
- Thermostat part number for this waterpump is a GM #12600171 and requires seal GM #12570307 (common application: 2005-2007 Corvette 6.0L), thermostat housing kit is GM #12600172. Alternate/OEM Part Number(s): MotoRad #456-187 (includes seal), Stant #14948
- LS7 engines require a slightly different crank pulley configuration. Please let us know when ordering if your engine is an LS7
