Universal power steering hose kits help you plump a GM Type 2 power steering pump to a Ford or GM rack and pinion steering gear. Many aftermarket chassis kits feature Ford "Fox-platform" steering racks as found on 80s and 90s cars including Mustangs, Thunderbirds and Fairmonts. Supported GM racks were standard equipment on many vehicles as long as they accept M16x1.5 and M18x1.5 O-ring adapter fittings.
