Chevy LS Supercharger Pulley Systems
Supercharged engines place increased loads on the accessory drive system. As these engines easily make more than 600HP, Concept One developed a dual belt design called the MAX10R. A 10-Rib serpentine belt drives the supercharger, while a separate 8 rib serpentine belt drives the accessories. Max10R utilizes a heavy duty tensioner and quad idlers for maximum belt wrap. Compatible with some of the most popular superchargers on the market including Magnuson, Edelbrock, and Whipple as well as factory GM LSA and LS9 superchargers.
A more affordable 8-Rib system is available only for stock boost -- 6 to 8 psi -- applications. The design features a single 8 rib serpentine belt along with two idlers. The single belt drives the supercharger as well as all accessories. 8-rib systems are intended for mild street driving only. For engines running 10 psi boost or more and/or engines used for high performance driving events such as track days and drag racing, our MAX10R design is a must.
