Small Block Chevy Highboy Pulley Systems
The Highboy kit is a two-belt kit designed originally for 1957 Chevys,
but also works great on fat fendered street rods and trucks.
This kit puts the compressor and alternator above the valve covers. This
leaves plenty of room on each side of the engine, without cluttering up the
front of the engine like street rod setups do. This kit also works great on
55 and 56 Chevys because it allows the use of a stock fan with the radiator
and core support in the "V8" position, however, it requires that the car has
side motor mounts. This is a great kit for "Tuned Port" applications.
