Ford Small Block 289/302/351 Pulley Systems

Our popular small block Ford kits are now even better. We've added a stylish new design to the pulleys and added a new smaller alternator for an even more compact design to enhance the underhood appearance of your classic. These one belt systems fit a wide variety of applications including street rods, trucks, Mustangs and practically anything else a small block Ford will fit into. The availability of both short and long waterpump versions should allow enough versatility to fit most engine compartments. The dimensions below should help with checking under hood dimensions, but if you need more information, please give us a call.

Application Info

Short waterpump (SFM) kits are intended for applications where there is a minimum amount of room between the engine and radiator. This combination is 1.5 inches shorter than the long waterpump kits. Requires changing the timing cover along with the waterpump and works with electric fuel pump only.

Fits SB Ford engines using FRPP waterpump and timing cover (part# M-8501-A50), and FRPP balancer (part# M-6316-K351 or M-6316-M50)

Long waterpump (SFL) kits are the same length as standard rotation waterpumps on most older Fords and will fit most applications. Must change to a reverse rotation waterpump, but most older timing covers will work. Works with electric or mechanical fuel pump.

Fits SB Ford engines using the FRPP waterpump (part# M-8501-C50) and timing cover (part# M-6059-D351), and FRPP balancer (part# M-6316-K351 or M-6316-M50)

Ford 90° thermostat housings are recommended

When using Concept ONE kits in older Fords with the radiator inlet on the passenger side, custom hoses such as Cool-Flex® can be used to reroute the radiator hose

Some pulleys may look different than what is pictured, depending on the style of kit

Kits are designed for use with electric cooling fans. If you need to run a mechanical fan, contact us and we can make modifications to the waterpump pulley.
